The Covestro Desolite® 3471-1-129A Primary Optical Fiber Coating offers fast curing, excellent low-temperature performance and superior ribbon strippability. Available in a 10 kg bottle.

Liquid Coating:

• Viscosity, 25°C: 7,150 mPa·s
• Liquid Refractive Index, 23°C: 1.480

Cured Coating (Tested at <1% R.H.):

• Glass Transition Temperature Range, Tg: -60°C (-76°F) at E’ 1000 MPa
• Glass Transition Temperature Range, Tg: -37°C (-34.6°F) at E’ 100 MPa

Cured Coating (Tested at 23°C, 50% R.H.):

• Secant modulus, 2.5% strain: 1.3 MPa
• Elongation: 200%
• Tensile strength: 1.0 MPa
• Refractive Index: 1.505
