The Broadcom xFBR-45xxZ series fiber optic connectors are an enhanced version of the HFBR-4501Z and HFBR-4503Z low-cost connectors for plastic optical fiber. Designed for use with Broadcom® Versatile Link series transmitters and receivers, these connectors offer a snap-together assembly that eliminates the need for crimping. This simplified design reduces labor, tool costs, and yield loss due to installation errors. Constructed from durable, flame-retardant ULTEM® plastic, these connectors are ideal for industrial and harsh environments. The xFBR-45xxZ Series is exclusively for use with plastic optical fiber (POF).
