The ÅngströmBrush® Ultimas™-F SiOx Flock Pile Lapping Film is designed to consistently polish irregular glass surfaces to a mirror finish, time after time. This cutting-edge flock is the latest generation of final polishing materials for MT fiber optic polishing. Compared to traditional Cerium Oxide final polishing flock, the Ultimas-F Silicon Dioxide flock cleaning lapping film offers a superior fiber end-face finish with less scratching and reduced Core Dip, particularly in Multimode products.
The 8" disc is the standard size for the Ultra Tec Ultrapol 1200, some Buelher polishing machine, as well as others.
