AFL leaders to share industry insights and showcase optical connectivity portfolio
Spartanburg, S.C., July 25, 2024 – AFL will feature a wide range of its Build America, Buy America (BABA)-compliant optical connectivity, fiber optic cable and equipment portfolio.
On the show floor, AFL will showcase its Apex® Fiber Optic Splice Closure family, designed to decrease installation time, increase density of fiber splices and increase network reliability. The Apex closure line is most effective when coupled with AFL’s industry-leading, high-density MicroCore® cable and Wrapping Tube Cable with SpiderWeb Ribbon®.
AFL will also feature its completely collapsible will Switchblade® Fiber Containment Vault. Its flared design provides a high strength to weight ratio minimizing the effects of frost heave and increasing internal volume, making it ideal for higher density products prevalent in today’s market.
Experience live, hands-on demonstrations of the Fujikura 90R and 45S fusion splicers, with Active Fusion Control technology. This technology improves splice losses for fibers that have a poor cleave angle and prevents bad splices due to a poorly maintained cleaver.
