The Domaille Engineering PFA-MT-EZ82-12 AbraSave® Polishing Fixture is designed to work with Domaille polishing machines securely holding MT/APC connectors during the fiber optic polishing process. These connectors are polished at an 8.2° angle. The EZ clamp fixture simplifies the ferrule/connector clamping process during polishing, eliminating the need for tools or components, reducing costs and operator fatigue.
With AbraSave fixtures and Unique Path Technology, each fiber follows its own designated path on the lapping film, reducing polishing time by up to 50% and extending the lifespan of lapping films by up to 90%. This ensures consistent polishing, minimizes height variations and improves yield.
