The IDEAL® Ringer™ Adjustable Blade Fiber Optic Cable Stripper is a professional-grade electrician’s tool designed for precise stripping of round cables and buffer tube. Known as the “Big Blue” model, it features two adjustable depth blades and a rounded slitting blade, making it ideal for fiber jackets, mini-coax prep, twisted pair cables, and specialty copper cables where standard strippers aren’t suitable. This model handles larger round cable jackets and inner conductors from 0.250” (6.4 mm) up to 0.563” (14.3 mm), with 0.560” (14.2 mm) blade spacing for two-step or window stripping. Replacement blades (L-9226) are also available.
