Jonard Tools® FOD-2000 Fiber Optic Drop Cable Slitter

The Jonard Tools^® FOD-2000 Fiber Optic Drop Cable Slitter is designed to make mid-span and end-section slitting of fiber drop cables fast and precise. Ideal for FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) technicians, it handles flat drop cables with ease, protecting the fiber while improving job efficiency.

Features:

• Slits 0.250" flat drop cables and a range of other types
  • Including: Super Essex Communications Series 6U, 6T tonable, W7, W7 tonable, 6U 24F, and 6T 24F tonable cables)
• Compatible with cables measuring 0.305" to 0.350" wide and 0.155" to 0.185" high, such as Corning SST-Drop flat cables
• Simultaneously slits both sides of the jacket for quick access to the fiber or strength members
• Cleanly separates the jacket and strength members from the buffer tube, leaving fiber undamaged
• Includes two pre-installed reversible blades; flip them when worn to extend life
• Compatible with FOD-RB25 replacement blades (sold separately)
