Jonard Tools® MS-316 Mid-Span Cable Slitter & Ring Tool (2.9mm-6.8mm)

The Jonard Tools^® MS-316 Fiber Optic Mid Span Slit and Ring Tool for 2.9mm to 6.8mm cables is designed to open fiber cable jackets and loose buffer tubes, providing easy access to fibers without damage. One side of the tool slits the jackets and tubes, while the opposite side performs ring cuts for quick and precise mid-span access.

• Five cable groove sizes:
  • 2.9mm–3.6 mm (0.114–0.142")
  • 3.6mm–4.4 mm (0.142–0.173")
  • 4.4mm–5.2 mm (0.173–0.205")
  • 5.2mm–6.0 mm (0.205–0.236")
  • 6.0mm–6.8 mm (0.236–0.268")
• Consists of 5 precision slitting grooves and 5 precision ring grooves ranging from 2.9 mm to 6.8 mm (0.114–0.268")
• One side performs radial/ring cuts; the other side makes longitudinal slits
• Compact design (Indicator line on top shows blade position for accurate slitting and ringing
• Replacement blade set: MS-316RB
• Blades last for up to 5,000 slits/cuts
