The Jonard Tools^® MS-446 Fiber Optic Mid Span Slit and Ring Tool provides easy access to optical fibers in AFL’s Heavy Duty OSP MicroCore^® (LMHD-Series) cables and other thick-walled jackets ranging from 8.7 mm to 14.6 mm (0.34"–0.57") in diameter.

Features:

• Four cable groove sizes:
  • 8.7mm–9.1mm (0.34"–0.36")
  • 9.5mm–9.9mm (0.37"–0.39")
  • 11.8mm–12.2mm (0.46"–0.48")
  • 14.2mm–14.6mm (0.56"–0.57")
• Consists of 4 precision slitting grooves and 4 precision ring grooves ranging from 8.7–14.6 mm (0.34"–0.57").
• One side of the tool performs radial/ring cuts, while the opposite side makes longitudinal slits.
• Compact design weighing less than 8 oz, with a built-in tethering hole for convenient field use.
• Blade position indicator line ensures accurate slitting and ringing.
• Specially designed for AFL’s Heavy Duty OSP MicroCore® (LMHD-Series) and other similar cables.
