AFL Telecommunications Splice Connect is an inexpensive mechanical splice that allows the user to quickly and easily make two fibers together. Utilizing V groove technology, Spliceconnect maintains physical contact between the mated fibers securing the fiber and coating independently with an innovative U-shaped internal sleeve. This internal sleeve both enhances the splice strength and minimizes issues with fiber twist. This video will guide the user through the steps required to properly splice two fibers together using the splice connect mechanical splice system.
