Transcript:
The PSI-15 features conical fiber feed that guides fiber into the protection seats and one sleeve is loaded and removed another one falls into place ready to be loaded. The PSI-15 can hold up to 15 protection sleeves ranging from 40 mm to 60 mm in length. To use the PSI-15 first load the protection sleeves into the unit.
Next, take stripped fiber, and load it into a protection sleeve by banking it against the conical fiber feed surface and guiding the fiber into the projection sleeve. When loaded, take both ends of the fiber and simply lift the protection sleeve out of the unit. The PSI-15 protection sleeve insertion tool makes loading fiber onto protection sleeves quick and easy. Instead of having to thread the fiber into each protection sleeve, you can use this tool to do it very, very quickly.
