Today I want to talk to you about the AST-200 CableSaber. This is the ultimate tool for gaining mid-span and end cable access in armored cables and thick jacketed cables ranging in diameter from 4 mm to 28.6 mm. The tool features the following adjustable blade depth up to 5.5 mm by the thumb screw at the bottom of the tool. The steel blade ensures the ability to cut through the toughest materials to tool can be changed from slit to ring mode via the adjustable black knob at the bottom of the tool. The aluminum shaft ensures that the guide wheel stay steady so that it does not walk or create a spiral cut on the cable. The aluminum shaft housing acts as a handle to provide additional leverage and convenience when ringing cable. Lastly, the tool is made of all aluminum for maximum durability
