The MDC-64 is designed to cut up to 2 1/2 inch diameter tubing or piping made from PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, rubber or any other type of plastic. Simple to use. Open the doors by pulling back on the ratcheting handle. Place the tubing to be cut in the draw and making sure the tubing is perpendicular to the pool and squeezed the handles together to cut the tubing. The ratcheting action heat treated in ground sharp stainless steel blade reduces the force required to cut the tubing to make it more comfortable to use and repetitively over non ratcheting tools.
