This tool is used to create an midspan access window in fiber to the home riser cables as well as flexible microphones. This tool works on cables 8 1/2 millimeter to 14 millimeter in size. Just press the tool on the cable, wrap your hand around the tool and the cable and pull. The RST-8514 will easily shape open the cable giving you access to fiber inside forming the same function on flexible micro duct you can see how easily it opened up duct. Blade replacement is easy. Remove the two screws and remove the blade. Insert the new blade in the slot. Tighten the screws replacement blades are available under Part Number RST-RB25 which provides you with a pack of 25 blades.
