The company announces promotion of Joni Montemagno to Marketing Director to enhance technical processes and continued growth of the business portfolio
New Bedford, MA, USA – August 1, 2025 – Fiber Optic Center, Inc., (FOC), an international leading distributor specializing in helping their customers make the best cable assemblies in the world, announces the well deserved promotion of Joni Montemagno to Marketing Director, effective August 1, 2025.
In this new role, Joni will be responsible for Tradeshow Direction, SEO Strategy, Promotions, Platform Management, Department Development, Analytics and Procedures Development.
Joni Montemagno has been with Fiber Optic Center since 2019 and has consistently demonstrated outstanding work ethic, leadership skills, dedication, and technical expertise. Prior to this promotion, Joni served as FOC Promotions Director where she has been instrumental in developing marketing automation programs, managing website platform transition projects, handling all trade shows and investing in the marketing department growth.
"Joni Montemagno embodies the best of Fiber Optic Center dedication. She has made a huge impact on the company’s ability to scale in recent years, always taking on additional challenges and projects in the spirit of making FOC the best it can be. As she has been operating as a marketing director before the official promotion, it gives me pleasure to officially announce this”, said Ben Waite, President and CEO of Fiber Optic Center, Inc.
Joni will continue to work under the strategic direction of Kathleen Skelton, who assumes the role of VP Marketing today and with the current talented FOC Marketing Department members of Brett Kane and Nikki Seador, as the team drives growth, builds brand awareness, and ensures all products and services are available, understood, and in demand. To use one of Joni’s favorite team meeting conclusion phrases, ‘Go team, go!’.
Marketing continues to develop technical expertise and connect FOC customers with a complete solution experience for the current portfolio of products and consulting services. Additionally, scaling the department allows for expansion of additional portfolios and business disciplines.
