    Epoxy and adhesives are the most critical determining factor affecting the long-term reliability of product. These epoxy and adhesive supplies are critical in fiber optics because they are used to bond and protect the optical fibers, connectors, and other components of fiber optic systems which require a strong, reliable, and durable bond for proper operation. Selecting the right adhesives and using them properly is essential for ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Some specific reasons why epoxy and adhesive supplies are critical in fiber optics include: connector termination, a critical step in the installation process, the assembly of fiber optic cables, to ensure they do not damage the fibers or impair their performance, protection from environmental factors such as moisture, dust, and other forms of contamination, to ensure the security longevity of the fiber optic system. Materials are offered in 2-Part Packets (bi-packs) and Premixed & Frozen. 2-Part Packets (bi-packs) promote minimal waste and ensure proper mix ratios to avoid failures during operation. All our packaging maintains a strict mix ratio of at least +/- 1% and are highest quality to ensure consistency throughout their shelf life. Premixed & Frozen adhesives loaded in syringes or cartridges are accurately pre-weighed, de-aired and flash frozen to ensure maximum adhesive performance. Flash freezing guarantees the maximum working time and reduces the potential for errors, yielding increased quality at lower costs. Acknowledging how critical the epoxy processes is to product reliability, considering that process failures are often impossible to detect without specialized or destructive testing, is essential for any fiber optic cable assembly house.
